Minneapolis, MN. Baseball is America’s past time. Whether or not Brian Duensing was trying to get Alex to chase the ball, Brian didn’t mean to hurt Alex, it’s just part of the game. Alex was finally coming alive with the bat. He got two hits against the Twins before his injury. Sometimes the Twins have trouble holding on to the baseball. I don’t think the Duensing meant to hit Alex on purpose. It wasn’t like the Dodgers game from the other night, where there was some malicious intent with their playing. One can only hope that nothing is broken and Alex is ok, but if Alex can’t go, then Jim Leyland will have to use Brayan Pena. If I thought that there was any malicious intent, then I would tell everyone. The trip I took to Target Field was every sports reporter’s dream.
