NFL’s Future Is in Limbo

By Jeremiah Boyce

New Orleans, Louisiana. You may not hear any “hut-hut” in the Louisiana Superdome or at Lucas Oil Stadium, or anywhere else for that matter in 2011. I think commissioner Roger Goddell should be ashamed of what the players and owners are doing. The players and owners are making a mockery out of the game that was once revered, because you have a classic example of what sports in America has become. Sports in America has become about greed and not so much about passion and loyalty. The NFL is a prime example of what’s right for now and what will be wrong, if the players and owners cannot come to terms on the current collective bargaining agreement. The NFL would put a black eye on itself if no agreement is reached. You have players that are only signing for one year. To me, that is a joke. I know your futures are uncertain, but why don’t you sit down across from the owners and hammer out a deal?
