Minneapolis: the Minesota Twins got some help from Tampa Bay earlier Monday when Tampa Bay beat Detroit 11-7.  Meanwhile at the Metrodome it was a battle between two AL Central rivals, The Twins and the 
White Sox.   The White Sox were coming out of a three game sweep at 
the hands of the New York Yankees.  The Twins used the long ball mixed in with a great pitching performance by Nick Blackburn and defeated the White Sox 4-1 putting them only 3 1/2 games behind the Motor City Kittys.  Meanwhile in baseball, the New York Yankees rolled over the Baltimore Orioles with a final score of 5-1 at Camden Yards.  The Yankees have the best record in the East with 95 wins.
