Here we are and it is Friday afternoon and nobody seems to know who the Vikings will start at quarterback on Sunday against the visiting Tampa Bay Buccaneers at U.S. Bank Stadium. Less than 48 hours until kickoff, Head Coach Mike Zimmer is being very tight lipped about who is starting at who that starter will be that even Vikings play by play man Paul Allen was not able to tell his listeners on his morning KFAN radio show if Bradford is 100% physically able to take center snaps from rookie Pat Elflein.

If Bradford is not ready to go, Case Keenum will start at quarterback for the second week in a row. Unlike last week where he was facing the Steel Curtain Defense of the Pittsburgh Steelers on their home field, this time he will be on a familiar turf where he will have the support of the loyal Viking fans behind him at the Purple Palace where he played well in the pre season.

Once again the onus will be on the Minnesota Moving Company to protect whatever quarterback starts on Sunday and also to open up running lanes for the Vikings running backs so we can here P.A. say “He is loose”. Also the defense will have to play sharper not making the careless penalties that they did a week ago keeping drives alive for the Steelers. Hopefully this will make for a much more relaxed Sunday for radio analyst Pete Bercich and also P.A.
