Fargo, North Dakota. Before the Bison and the Buccaneers got down to business on the field, the Bison had two things to do. One of those things was a celebration of last year’s accomplishments, while the other was a painful remembrance of the former and the late, great voice of the Bison, Scott Miller. If you would like to read my eulogy for Scott, there is a post about that on this site.

The Buccaneers came in ranked number six, but numbers mean nothing in college football. By the end of the night, Fargo, North Dakota would be on the edge of their seats wondering if the Bison would be 0-1 again, like they were last year. They shouldn’t have had to rely on a King to save them. King Frasier, Bison running back, scored the game winner right away in overtime. Easton was on the stick when he had to be. The Bison suffered a key injury when middle linebacker Nick Deluca may have injured his shoulder and we will find out if it was a season ending injury during Chris Kleiman’s press conference on Monday at noon. The Bison will take a week off before their next game at the Fargodome.
