It seems like just yesterday that the Bobcats were just opening. I can remember being a younger Jeremiah at the Bismarck Civic Center and saying, “Get your programs, get your programs!” I’ve been through several general managers with the team. Their first GM was Glen Hefferan, which also included Drew O’Connell, and then along came Melanie Mason. That’s when I got my first ever Bobcats jersey. I was still a baby Bobcat attending Century High School. My favorite player was Jason Valenta. Melanie and Suzy took me down to the ice where Jason unveiled the jersey and presented it to me in front of the Bobcats’ bench. From that point on, the rest has been history. It has been a love affair ever since. The Bismarck Bobcats get ready to open up another season of hockey in the capital city. Let’s go Bobcats! Let’s go Sedevie! Let’s go Roth! We have the best owner in the league! Let’s make ourselves number one! Let’s add two more banners to the rafters! This is Cat-Town USA!
