Just when we thought baseball could not get any more dramatic, the Boston Red Sox announced the hiring of former Tigers general manager, David Dombrowski. The new General Manager of the Detroit Tigers, Al Avila, is faced with the tough decision of re-signing his own son, or letting him walk. That will be an interesting thing to see. As far as Dombrowski is concerned, the Boston media will have a field day with him. Is it going to be like the motor city where he had a right hand man that the media could toss everything on? Now he is the President of Baseball Operations for the Red Sox. Prior to coming to bean town, he helped the Tigers to four straight division titles, but he could never get over the top.
