It doesn’t matter that the first two games were in the Scott Trade Center in St. Louis, Missouri, the Wild should have had yesterday’s game. They had St. Louis in an 0-1 hole, but instead Devan Dubnyk allowed the Blues to make sweet music on his teammates, especially Zachary Parise, who this reporter feels bad for, because of the death of his father, J.P. Parise. How nice would it be for Zachary to lift the Stanley Cup high over his head. It would be sweet. In a year where Zach has been battling so much tragedy, hockey is good for him. Devan wasn’t on top of his game yesterday. You know the X will be rocking Monday and Wednesday, so the tables will be turned on the Blues for games three and four. I thoroughly expect the Blues to go home in a 3-1 hole. Anything less than that would be unacceptable, especially for Zach. I expect this series will come down to a series of adjustments, and it’s going to come down to Mike Yeo vs. Ken Hitchcock. The good thing for Mike is that it’s in the Xcel Energy Center, where he gets the last word. Ken Hitchcock has to wait before he can make any changes.
