In high school, even if you lose, you have a consolation championship, but in college you do not. When you lose, you have seniors that are left thinking about what could have been, and that is not right. I realize this is not high school, but somebody should tell Jim Delany, that even if a team like Indiana or Purdue loses, (or Illinois for that matter) there should be a consolation round for them to play in. Look at Purdue last year, even though they were five and fourteen, I still felt like they deserved a chance to play another game. Matt Painter had them workout for one game, that they lost. I know many of you are not going to agree with this, but I can take a little bit of heat. It is somewhat bothersome when a team makes it to the tournament, and only get one game if they lose.
