For the second straight week, the Red River Valley was almost in cardiac arrest. Coastal Carolina was threatening to dethrone the defending national champions, but the Bison were able to stop the Chanticleers from moving on to the final four. In the end, NDSU scored just enough to survive. John Crockett opened the scoring. When he scored, Scott Miller, the voice of the Bison, said, “Good morning, Fargo!” Crockett would make a little bit of history during Saturday’s game. Move over Lamar Gordon, you have new company, his name is John Crockett. The Bison are one win away from their return trip to Frisco, Texas. The Bison look they still have several qualities of their former head coach, Craig Bohl, because they persevere whenever they face adversity, and Chris Kleiman sounds like he has a little bit of Craig Bohl in him whenever he addresses the media or talks to Jeremy Jorgenson on the radio. He tells the fans what he thinks of the game, and what the Bison need to do better when they come out of halftime. In order to advance, they must get by the Bearcats of Sam Houston State. The fans can watch on ESPN TV, as well as listen on the Bison Football Radio Network to the one and only Scott Miller, Phil Hansen, and Jeremy Jorgenson.
