Given the Pacers’ current state affairs, it’s time for me to tell you Pacers nation what I think about your Pacers. While I think game one is a thing of the past, and it will be interesting to hear what Kevin, Mark, and Slick will have to say. While I want to believe that Frank Vogel is the right coach for the Pacers, I am starting to question wether he is or not. I question that because I don’t think that Frank is fiery enough. The Pacers need somebody like a Slick Leonard to light a fire under their behinds, and say “look guys, losing by 20 points is not acceptable, especially when you are at home.” There is a reason why we have the number one seed in the Eastern Conference. I wonder if Mr. Bird has ever thought about giving Mr. Miller a call and saying “hey Reggie would you want to put on a uniform again and help us out?” Or I wonder if Mr. Bird has ever thought about calling Mr. Miller to talk about giving him a head coaching opportunity with the Pacers? Because it seems that Frank is just not getting it done. We cannot afford to go down two games to none. The Pacers might as well put their basketball sneakers away if they do, because Larry did not build this team so that they could be one and done. This is a huge basketball game, so Frank either does it or he will be fired, and you will be looking at a new coach for your Indiana Pacers next season. This is inexcusable, and President Bird knows better then this. The Simons should be trying to figure out what the heck went wrong this season, because for most of the season it looked like the Pacers were going to wave the Larry O’Brien trophy, and now they are having trouble with the number eight team the Atlanta Hawks. Roy Hibbert should not be allowed to play for the Blue and Gold next year! I also think that Louis should come back to play for the Pacers. Leave Paul George alone, and run Roy Hibbert out of town. If Roy is not going to play basketball the way the Pacers want him to play then he shouldn’t be in the Blue and Gold. Just get him out of town! If you are going to criticize your teammates, then why the heck are you in Indianapolis, Roy? Somebody needs to step up and be a playoff hero, and I don’t know what’s with you Paul, but can you please shut your mouth for one game and act like Reggie, the way you were earlier in the season? Pacers fans, if you don’t see any improvements out of the team tonight, then I don’t know what Larry needs to do with this team, but I think that he needs to step in and do something. I think that it will all start with Frank Vogel, and I think they should consider firing him. Another game with no effort and you can expect some news on Frank Vogel, within the first 24 hours, and then they might as well give the Hawks the series. I would like to believe that the Pacers can do it, but given their recent struggles in Atlanta, I do not see that happening. So tonight is pretty much their season, and is a must win game for Frank, and especially Roy if he would like to remain a Pacer.
