Indianapolis, Indiana. The Indiana Pacers were supposed to be the number one team in the East, but when you take a look at the scoreboard on Saturday night, you would see that a tornado ripped through the heartland. That tornado would be an Indianapolis native named Jeff Teague. Larry Bird can not play basketball for the Pacers. Luis Scola and Big Roy had better get a spine quickly or else Larry and Donnie are not going anywhere near their ultimate goal, which is South Beach. I’m just telling you the truth Pacers fans. What we saw on Saturday night was a butt whooping. It’s up to the boys who wear blue and gold to come out and show us that they want to play basketball until early June. I’m a very irritated Pacers fan right now, and I think that this should not be happening, and that the number eight seed should not be up one game to none. The Pacers should have a spine. Larry knows what he is doing, and it’s not his fault we are down one game to none. I will tell you one thing, the boys who ask Frank to give them off better knock it off! This is the playoffs, and we can’t be doing this horse manure. Letting the Hawks walk into Bankers Life and beat you to a pulp is total BULL, and Frank knows it, and he is a better coach than that. You have to give Teague and the Hawks credit, but I would expect a very angry Pacers team in 24 hours, or else their season is basically over. We can’t be going to Atlanta two games to none. This is a must win situation, and Frank and Larry know it. It’s time for the Pacers to put their big boy pants on and show the state of Indiana how big boys play basketball. So you have a choice, Roy, you can either knock off the talking to the media, and just let your playing do the talking and just let Bobby say Boom Baby! You can also start leading your team by example, or you can take you bottle of baby formula, and go sit next to Frank on bench and act like you don’t care, and have Larry trade you. At this point I have a feeling that Roy is the reason for all of our trouble, and if you talk to the media one more time I will no longer support Mr. Hibbert wearing the blue and gold! Players who talk to the press about their teammates and then don’t help the team out get under my skin. I expect a much better performance from the Pacers. While I’m disappointed with the results from game one, I’m not going to disown them. I still think that they can win, but it’s disappointing to me because I thought they were going to play better basketball then this. What are we to make of game one? Are we to assume that this is going to be a easy win for Atlanta? Or are we to assume that coach Vogel will be able to make the right adjustments and that we will be able to take the lead coming out of Georgia? Only time will tell. Stay tuned for more blue and gold coverage with Jeremiah.
