This weekend’s series went as I suspected it would with the Bobcats winning 3-1 on Friday and the Blizzard winning 3-0 on Saturday.  Brad Willner’s team is a good team.  The thing that impressed me the most was Matt Hemingway’s performance.  Hemingway, who was named the #1 Star on Saturday, shut down the Bobcat’s offensive attack en route to a 3-0 shutout.  Hemingway has a bright future in this league after what we saw on Saturday.  Now the pressure is clearly on the #1 seeded Bismarck Bobcats to respond, but this time at the Rune Stone Community Center.  If I was Coach Willner, I wouldn’t change anything.  I would go with #33 (Hemingway) on Friday night, because to be in your third Jr. A game and have so much composure, with an explosive team shooting pucks at you, is really impressive.
