Fayetteville, Arkansas. Another disturbing story in college football. This time involving the Arkansas Razorbacks head football coach, Bobby Patrino. How many times in sports have we seen coaches who think they are above the law? Patrino clearly doesn’t give a darn about his program. After taking the Hogs to an eleven win season, he decides to go on a joy ride with a 25 year old woman. This decision resulted in Patrino’s immediate termination from the university. His actions with this woman, ignoring the contract he signed with the University of Arkansas, and most importantly the disregard for his wife and families well being, get me fired up and extremely disappointed. To make matters even more appalling, why would you lie to your athletic director and to the police. Just because he is a coach of a major college football program doesn’t make him any less accountable for his actions. Patrino is full of bull$#*@ in my opinion. He has left he program in the position of having to replace a winning coach with somebody who can gain the trust and respect of the players and keep them a winning team. A daunting task to say the least. I am curious to see how this will affect the SEC as a whole this year and I will be watching to see if the Razorbacks will be able to maintain their place, close to the top.
