Beckwith’s Flawless Debut

1

Indianapolis, Indiana. Former MRN announcer Alan Beckwith made ESPN’s play by play debut today. AB replaced Marty Reed who was demoted to the Nationwide play by play for ESPN. AB brings a wealth of NASCAR knowledge to the booth, where he joined 1999 champion Dale Jarrett and crew chief Andy Petrie. AB is the best thing that ESPN could have ever done to enhance their NASCAR coverage.

Well said, great move for ESPN, watching Pocono…..enjoyed rain delay and Alan commenting.
Also, glad to see the \"thru the pack\" carried back to the end (almost) of the leaders. Good to see
some of the slower cars in detail and their sponsors (important to NASCAR) and sponsorship.
Good going Alan, have alway enjoyed you, especially when you were on the early SPEED monday
night BS sessions with Schrader, Waltrip, etc……………
